Personalised Treatment Plans

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy is a body-based approach to psychotherapy that supports healing from past and present trauma. It recognises that stress and traumatic experiences are held not only in the mind, but also within the body and nervous system.

Using a bottom-up approach, somatic therapy focuses on bodily sensations, breath, and nervous system responses rather than relying on talking or cognitive insight. This helps individuals build emotional awareness and develop practical skills to regulate their nervous system, supporting greater safety, balance, and wellbeing.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Identifies and challenges detrimental thought patterns, helping individuals alter negative behaviours, navigate challenging situations, and enhance both their mental and physical well-being.

Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies along with commitment and behaviour change strategies to increase psychological flexibility

Emotional Freedom technique (EFT)

Combines acupressure and psychological strategies to relieve stress and emotional distress and address limiting beliefs, self-sabotaging behaviours or patterns in life.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Identifies and challenges detrimental thought patterns, helping individuals alter negative behaviours, navigate challenging situations, and enhance both their mental and physical well-being.

Narrative Power Therapy

Empowers individuals to reshape their personal narratives, providing innovative strategies to address and overcome their challenges.

Mindfulness-based practices

Utilising various activities and techniques designed to enhance awareness of thoughts, sensations, and emotions in the present moment, approached without judgment or expectation. These practices encourage individuals to cultivate a deeper understanding of their internal experiences, fostering a sense of presence and acceptance.

Interpersonal Therapy

Focuses on improving interpersonal relationships, emotional awareness and social function to reduce psychological symptoms and distress psychological symptoms and improve wellbeing.
